Steel Powder Press for Cosmetic PansDIY PAK
NEW NEWS! The last 59mm presses in this batch all have slight scratches on the face, which require the use of a plate or a pressing cloth to ensure a smooth final product. Because of this, we have marked these items down from $40 to $25. Using a pressing cloth or plate to finish the look is recommended, anyway, so the actual impact to your work should be minimal, and you're getting a great deal!
We were able to move our 26mm, 37mm and 59mm presses to a US manufacturer, which is very exciting!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Press appearance may vary slightly from what is shown in the photo, but functionality of all types remain consistent. 26mm presses no longer have the cross hatching plate as shown on the photo.
This is a tool for pressing powder in a pan. These industrial-style presses are made from solid steel and their weight makes it easy to press powders for compacts.
To use, place your cosmetic pan into the square base, then fill to the top with your powder. Press down with the heavy round disc. You may need to fill and press more than once to get a very compact powder.
26mm pans hold about 3g of powder.
29mm pans hold about 5g of powder.
37mm pans hold about 7g of powder.
59mm pans hold 10-15g of powder.
Take care of you press by never getting it wet and putting it away in a plastic bag when you are finished with it. Wipe until completely dry, then wipe down with an oily rag.
DIY Cosmetics has a YouTube video showing you how to use our presses to make pressed powder compacts.
